About Chris
When you work with me, you - my client, are more important than the transaction. What does that mean? It means my number one priority is that my client has a successful and hassle-free real estate experience. It means that I work hard to achieve most favorable results for you and that your best interests are at the forefront. I want you to walk away delighted and feeling that my service was of great value.
Professional History:
Until I became a real estate professional, I worked in the commercial art world for ten years as an illustrator, concept designer and web designer. This included the development of artwork and creative products in a variety of fields:
- Film production while based in London, England:
- Concept designs for the film "Stardust," starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro.
- Storyboards and shot plans for a variety of smaller films.
- Online gaming artwork for feature film promotion and advertising, including "Shrek The Third" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest."
- Storyboards for various advertising campaigns.
- Medical/ pharmaceutical multimedia:
- Anatomical illustration, 2d animation and interface design for a variety of advertising, patient education and demonstrative evidence (courtroom litigation) projects.
- Web design and information architecture:
- Senior web designer at Fleetboston Financial (now Bank of America).
- Design and coding of e-commerce sites at Iconomy, Inc.
- Advertising for print and television:
- Storyboards and comps for a variety of commercials and print ads.
- Children's educational multimedia
These experiences have contributed to a well-rounded history of client service. By working in different fields I've learned to anticipate the varying needs of my clients, and my goal has always been the same: to deliver the effective solutions and compelling work products my clients expect - with a smile. The most rewarding part of professional life is when a client realizes the value in having chosen me.
Current Professional Work:
Having said all that, currently I am a broker associate with Prudential Real Estate of the Rockies. The Prudential brand brings forth a broad and stable foundation of expertise, as well as a valuable network of resources that I can deliver to my clients. Prudential has a solid reputation in the relocation market, and other services which can integrated or referred for my clients if needed.
I am constantly seeking out education and learning opportunities to improve my knowledge and offer more to my clients. Currently I am working towards my GRI designation. Eventually I plan to earn the EcoBroker designation in order to provide more specialized, environmentally conscious consultation to my clients.
- GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute) sets the standards for real estate professionalism, knowledge and productivity, by providing sound training in the critical skills of the real estate business. The GRI designation signifies a dedicated and knowledgeable professional within the industry.

Personal Background:
I was born and raised in Connecticut. Childhood summers were busy with sailing excursions to Nantucket, Block Island, Cape Cod, and Long Island. These are some of the fondest childhood memories I have. I also played ice hockey, tennis, and went hiking and skiing in Vermont.
During my teen years I was a sponsored amateur skateboarder. I competed in New York and California representing several clothing and equipment companies. Excelling at skateboarding is something I am very proud of, and is still embedded deep in my psyche. It's an authentic athletic pursuit and a valuable means of artistic expression for developing youth.
My second year in college was spent in France. For four months I was an English language tutor at a Paris high school. For another six months I studied art in Aix-en-Provence in the shadow of Cezanne. This began my career in the commercial art world.
I lived in Boston for ten years, and most recently London, England for three years. Living in London was a wonderful experience, providing a fresh perspective on the world - and the U.S. Ultimately however due to an undeniable and fundamental culture gap I longed for home. I was very happy to move to Boulder in 2008 and be able to ski, hike, breathe, and see blue skies almost everyday. Ultimately, to be reborn. Every day I am thrilled and feel truly lucky to live in this beautiful part of the country.
Interests:
I have a wide variety of interests including art deco, photography, adventure literature, cooking and fine wine, travel, playing my guitar and writing/recording music.
For several years I studied the indigenous Mayan culture of Central America, and in 2007 traveled to Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico for six weeks to visit and explore ruins firsthand. This was a very personal and profoundly moving experience.
I have traveled all over Europe, and have also been to Morocco, South Africa and Central America mentioned above.
